The shoulder belt crosses my child’s neck, what can I do?

If using the Oobr booster seat in fullback mode, you can adjust the booster seat’s headrest to change the shoulder belt position. If you are unable to adjust the shoulder belt so that it is above the child’s shoulder, lying snugly across the mid point of the child’s chest and across the center of the shoulder, Do NOT use this booster seat in fullback mode. We recommend that you return your booster seat and purchase a height and weight appropriate child seat with an integrated harness system.

If using the Oobr booster seat in backless mode or using the Ozzi or Olli booster seat, you may be able to adjust the shoulder belt up or down using vehicle equipped features. Some vehicles have a seat belt adjustment feature that allows the shoulder belt portion of the vehicle’s seat belt to be adjusted up and down. Refer to your owner’s manual for proper adjustment of the vehicle’s lap and shoulder belts.

If you are unable to adjust the shoulder belt so that it is above the child’s shoulder, lying snugly across the mid point of the child’s chest and across the center of the shoulder, Do NOT use this backless booster seat. We recommend that you use the Oobr booster seat in fullback mode or return your booster seat and purchase a height and weight appropriate child seat with an integrated harness system.
